Our research notes
CATEGORY BONUSES verified 2026-09-28 from official sources; see docs/research/cards/bonuses.md. PLANS BY REGION (2026-09-27): two ladders modelled with plan regions. US, AU, APAC and ROW use the post-1-Sep global ladder; UK, EU and CA use the older ladder still on their card pages (2% to $25, 3% to $75, 4%, 5%; medium confidence, the EEA may be switching). UK/EU/CA subscription prices are not published in USD; the global $49.90 and $299.90 are assumed. VERIFIED 2026-09-27 against primary sources: the US Prepaid Visa Cardholder Agreement and Schedule A fee schedule (effective 1 Sep 2026, crypto.com/document/us_card.pdf); the Level Up Program terms (Addendum 11 of the US App T&Cs, which make the help-centre Program FAQs the governing source for tiers and allow changes without notice); the Australian card terms (clause 12.1 incorporates the help-centre fee list), PDS and TMD; the EU card terms; and help-centre articles 2742447 (rewards, updated 2026-09-01), 12017612 (Level Up, 2026-09-01), 5966563 (US fees, 2026-09-01), 5966390 (AU fees, 2026-09-01), 5973506/6043620 (SG, 2026-09-01), 5977242 (UK, 2026-07-31), 5977463 (EEA, 2026-07-31), 5966447 (CA, 2026-07-31), 9716638 (LATAM, 2026-07-31) and 15344436 (BTC rewards, 2026-09-01), plus the regional card and Level Up pages. MODELLED PRODUCT: the prepaid card (the US Visa Signature credit card is a separate product; see below). WHAT CHANGED ON ABOUT 1 SEP 2026: in the US, Australia/NZ, Singapore and on the global site, rewards moved from 2%/3%/4%/5% (Plus capped at $1,250 of spend, Pro at $2,500, Private uncapped) to 1.5% on the first $750 (Plus), 2.5% on the first $1,500 (Pro), 3.5% on the first $3,000 then 0.5% (Private $50k) and 4.5% on the first $5,000 then 1% (Private $500k). The date is inferred from Wayback snapshots (crypto.com/en/cards switched between 1 Sep 11:39 and 2 Sep 16:09 UTC; the US fee article showed $1,250/$2,500 in May 2026); no public announcement was found. UK, EEA AND CANADA still show the old ladder on their card pages today (Plus 2% with a $25/mo reward cap, Pro 3% with $75, Private 4% and 5% uncapped) and their fee articles (last updated 31 Jul 2026) still list $1,250/$2,500/unlimited. CONFLICT: the BTC-rewards article for France, Germany and Italy (1 Sep 2026) lists CRO rates of 1.5% on $750 and 2.5% on $1,500, which suggests the EEA may be moving too; confidence in the UK/EU/CA ladder is MEDIUM. MODELLING ASSUMPTIONS: (1) The plans model the global ladder for every region because the schema cannot give capped tiers per region; this understates UK, EU and Canadian earnings (for example Plus pays up to $25/mo there vs $11.25) and should be revisited if regional plans are added. (2) Fees and stakes use the US dollar prices; AU, UK, EU and CA local prices are within about 10% at 25 Sep 2026 FX (AU$69.90 is about US$49, £39.90 about US$53, €39.90 about US$46). Only annual subscriptions are modelled because they cost less than 12 monthly payments and include the free physical card. (3) fx.rate 0.02 applies to APAC and ROW users, whose card is in a foreign currency (SGD, USD or EUR); it ignores the monthly FX-free allowance on Plus and Pro and the 0% on Private, and it overstates the cost for Singapore residents spending SGD. NZ residents on the Australian card pay 3%. (4) The engine charges 15% depreciation on locked CRO but does not credit the lockup yield (Pro 3%, Private 5% or 6% since 10 Sep 2026; up to 3.6% or 6% via on-chain staking), so staked plans are shown conservatively. The US and AU Level Up pages still advertise 8.5% and 9.5% yield on Private, which the 10 Sep 2026 FAQ contradicts. (5) conversionRate is 0 because a card funded from the in-app cash balance pays no per-purchase fee; crypto top-ups carry an unpublished app spread. OTHER FINDINGS: the Australian PDS appendix (older) lists 3% FX for Ruby, Jade and Indigo, while the AU fee article (1 Sep 2026) says those tiers are free up to AU$700 or AU$1,400 a month, then 3%; the fee article is newer and is incorporated by the card terms. The UK Level Up page shows Private at 4% to 6% while the UK card page shows 4% and 5%. Aggregator reviews (sweepbase, cryptoslate, spendnode) still show the pre-September US ladder and a $1M 'Prime' 8% tier that no official page lists; cardpilled flags the regional conflict. The prior research note's '4 to 8% at $50k+' is outdated: Private pays 3.5% to 4.5% (global) or 4% to 5% (UK/EU/CA). SEPARATE US PRODUCT: the Crypto.com Visa Signature credit card (Comenity Capital Bank, US only, credit check) pays 1.5% on the free tier and 3.5%/4.5%/5%/6% on Plus/Pro/Private, uncapped in CRO (BTC capped), with no annual fee; it may deserve its own entry. WHAT WOULD SETTLE THE OPEN POINTS: an updated UK/EEA/CA rewards article or the in-app Level Up screen for a UK or EU account, and a real Plus-tier spend test to confirm the $750 cap and the zero rate above it. Verify again before publishing.
