Privacy
No cookies, no accounts, no names. Here’s what we do record, and why.

The short version
We don't use cookies, we don't ask for your name or email, and there's nothing to sign up for. We count visits and clicks so we can see which pages help people and which don't. Your spend and country settings stay in your browser, so you don't have to enter them again.
What we record
Pages and clicks. We use PostHog, an analytics service, in its cookieless mode. It records the pages you open and what you do on them: the spend you type (rounded to the nearest $100, or $10 for a single category like groceries), the country you pick, the filters and cards you choose, and the buttons you click. Nothing is saved on your device for it. To tell one visit from another, PostHog works out a code from your IP address and browser details with a key that changes every day, so a visit today can't be linked to one tomorrow. Then it throws the IP address away, so it isn't stored with anything we record. PostHog keeps the rest on servers in the EU, and we can look back over the last 12 months of it. We send it through our own web address (cryptocardfinder.xyz/ingest), so it doesn't show up as a separate site.
Your country. Our host, Vercel, works out the country your connection comes from using your IP address. We use it to start you on the right region and to count visits by country. We don't store your IP address, and neither does PostHog. Vercel sees it, as any web host does, and Vercel's own privacy policy covers what it does with it.
Clicks to a card's site. Buttons to a card's site go through our own link first (it starts with cryptocardfinder.xyz/go/). We record the card, the button and page you clicked from, your country and a spend range like $1,000 to $2,000, never the exact amount. Then we send you on, with tags on the link that tell the card company the visit came from us.
Page speed and visit counts. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights count page views and measure how fast pages load. They don't use cookies either.
What your browser keeps
The site saves a few settings in your browser's local storage so they're there next time: the spend you entered, your country, light or dark mode, and whether you've seen the first-time tips. That saved copy stays on your device. Clear this site's data in your browser and it's gone.
What we don't do
- No cookies of our own, and no advertising or tracking pixels from anyone else.
- No accounts, no email list, nothing to log in to.
- We don't sell or rent what we record, and we don't use it to target ads.
When you leave for a card company's site
Its privacy policy takes over. Card companies, and the referral services they use, may set their own cookies, including one that records that we sent you. That's how a referral commission gets paid (see how we make money).
Your choices
You can block analytics with a content blocker or your browser's tracking protection, and the site works just the same. We don't hold anything that names you, so there's no profile to look up or hand over. If you have a question about this page, email hello@zenacademy.com.
Changes to this page
When what we record changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves.
