Our research notes
CATEGORY BONUSES verified 2026-09-28 from official sources; see docs/research/cards/bonuses.md. Researched and verified 2026-06-30 against bleap.finance (card/cashback, fees, terms, help center), The Block, Angle, and multiple reviews. Mastercard debit, self-custodial (Portal MPC, ERC-4337 smart wallet on Arbitrum; on/off-ramp and bridging across Ethereum, Polygon, BNB, Solana, Bitcoin). Issued by Unlimit EU Ltd (Mastercard scheme member, Central Bank of Cyprus EMI); Bleap Finance is programme manager. Cashback was UPGRADED: the old flat 2% ($10/mo cap) was retired in favor of category rates (1% base €3,000/mo cap, 2% restaurants/supermarkets €1,000/mo, 3% rides + 3% delivery €500/mo each, 20% subscriptions with tiny per-merchant caps), all paid in USDC, modeled here as a 1% base since real effective rate is ~1–2%. Stablecoin deposits are free 1:1; the ~0.3% fee applies only to the in-app fiat on-ramp. Google Pay AND Apple Pay confirmed. Idle vaults pay 3.65% (Steady) / 3.83% (Dynamic) AER. No confirmed new-user (referee) benefit: the old '+$5 cap raise per invite' mechanic is moot since the cap it boosted was removed; referral appears referrer-oriented. Token confirmed coming, TGE delayed to ~early 2027; no points program yet. Backers: Ethereal Ventures (Joe Lubin) + Blossom Capital, ex-Revolut founders.

What's good and what to watch
Good
- Unusually fee-light: 0% FX, €0 issuance/monthly, free ATM to €400/mo
- Self-custodial via Portal MPC: spend from your own wallet, no seed phrase
- Cashback paid automatically in USDC, no points, vouchers, or vesting
- Idle balance earns up to 3.83% AER, plus fee-free in-app crypto trading
- Native token confirmed coming (TGE ~2027), possible early-user airdrop upside
Watch
- "Up to 20%" is marketing; real effective rate is ~1–2%; the 20% tiers cap at a few euros/month each
- Europe + Mexico/LATAM only; US excluded, APAC not yet live
- Stablecoins only, can't hold volatile assets to spend
- Token not live yet (TGE ~2027) and no points program, so airdrop upside is unconfirmed
