Our research notes
CAP DECISION 2026-09-27: the monthly cashback cap is modelled at $100, the figure in Binance's official Global Program cashback FAQ (read via the founder's tracker, MED) for the ladder that started on 1 Jun 2026. The 20 USDC cap in a 2026 review describes the older four-tier ladder, so it loses on source order. Verify in-app. RESEARCHED 2026-09-27 by web search only (direct page fetches were blocked and the session's search budget ran out mid-research), so several official Binance pages were seen only as search-result titles or through the founder's tracker record. VERIFY in-app before publishing. PROGRAMME: this file models the Binance Card Global Program (Mastercard; issuer Immersve, New Zealand, per the tracker and a 2026 review), live in Australia (official Australian FAQ set published 2026-04-13), New Zealand and other APAC markets, selected Latin American markets and parts of the CIS. Brazil and the Gulf (GCC, Bahrain) run separate Binance card programmes and are not modelled. The EEA Binance Card closed in 2023. CASHBACK: per the official Global Program cashback FAQ as recorded in the tracker, since 1 Jun 2026 the rate is set by total monthly card spend: 1.5% under $100, 2% from $100, 3% from $1,000. The tier reached applies retroactively to all eligible spend in that calendar month (confirmed by a 2026 review, which also says USDC is credited by the 10th of the following month). The retroactive tiers are modelled as three flat-rate plans; Tiers 2 and 3 use requiresStake 1 with qualifyingMonthlySpend 100 and 1,000, the site's convention for spend-unlocked tiers (no capital is locked). Plans are listed top tier first so the engine names the right tier when the cap makes them tie. CAP CONFLICT: the tracker records a $100 monthly cap from the official FAQ; a 2026 review (cryptocardindex.com) says Binance caps Global Program cashback at 20 USDC a month under a four-tier 1% to 3% ladder, which may be the programme before 1 Jun 2026. Modelled at the less generous $20 under our conflict rule. If $100 is confirmed in-app, set monthlyRewardCap to 100 on all three plans: at $2,000 a month the gross rate rises from 1% to 3%. FX: Binance's Australian fees FAQ (per the tracker) lists a 3% foreign transaction fee on top of the Mastercard rate; two reviews report 2% in most markets, 3% in New Zealand and 0% in Colombia, Peru, the CIS and Armenia. fx.rate uses the Australian 3%, which overstates the cost in 2% and 0% markets. The card settles in USD. CONVERSION: 0.1% when spending USDC and 0.9% for other crypto (tracker plus two reviews); modelled at 0.1% on the assumption the cardholder spends USDC. PAYOUT: USDC (the tracker says USDC or BTC depending on country). Payments to financial institutions, government bodies and gambling earn no cashback (review). A 'June Cashback Boost' promotion was announced on 2 Jun 2026 and is not modelled. NOT CONFIRMED, verify: card type (prepaid per two reviews, debit per the tracker), whether a physical card is offered, Apple Pay and Google Pay support by country, ATM fees and spending limits.
What's good and what to watch
Good
- No issuance, monthly or annual fee
- Cashback paid in USDC, and the month's highest tier applies to all of that month's spend
- Spending USDC costs only a 0.1% conversion fee
- No BNB holding or staking needed for any tier
Watch
- A 3% foreign transaction fee in Australia (2% in several other markets) outweighs the cashback on local-currency spend
- Cashback is capped at US$100 a month (Binance's cashback FAQ, updated 25 Sep 2026)
- 0.9% conversion fee when spending crypto other than USDC
- Only in selected markets (Australia, New Zealand, parts of Latin America and the CIS); not in the US, UK, Canada or the EEA
- Custodial: spends from your Binance exchange balance
